Beijing, August 8, 2014 - The national television broadcaster CCTV has extended its broadcast aerial coverage with the purchase of Flying-Cam 3.0 SARAH Unmanned Aerial Systems to enable worldwide live TV coverage in Mainland China. SARAH stands for Special Aerial Response Automatic Helicopter.
CCTV President & CEO Mr Hu Zhanfan has personally attended the SARAH system validation at CCTV headquarters in Beijing to officially celebrate the first delivery. CCTV Technical Director Mr Ding and Flying-Cam Founder & CEO Mr Previnaire commented on the unique technical features of the SARAH system while HD Images were displayed on a large outdoor LED Screen. Mr Previnaire explained: “ TV Network can now multiply their access to the sky with unprecented quality, precision and ease of use, all with a prefessional and portable device.”
The Flying-Cam Distributor in China, Century Sage Scientific Group, based in Beijing, provided great support in the process. When Mr. Andrew Lo, CEO of CSS, met Flying-Cam a few years ago at NAB trade show in Las Vegas, he was immediately convinced that the SARAH system will become the best Unmanned Aerial Live Broadcast asset for the major TV network in China.
