Flying-Cam opens its 3rd office in Hong Kong, China on March 25, 2005.

Flying-Cam is proud to announce the opening of a branch office in Hong-Kong in the high-tech Cyberport Building on March 25th 2005.

With three crews based in Liege (Belgium), Santa Monica (USA) and now Hong-Kong (China), Flying-Cam is easily within your Production reach.

Since its creation by Emmanuel Previnaire in 1988, Flying-Cam is the World Leader in Close Range Aerial Filming with Unmanned Aerial Helicopter.

In 1995 Emmanuel Previnaire was conferred the Academy Award for Technical Achievement by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for his pioneering concept and development of mounting a motion picture camera on a remote controlled miniature helicopter.

Flying-Cam has filmed in over 45 different countries for more than 700 clients, with the majority of them being loyal clients.

The aeronautical design, quality of manufacture, safety features and maintenance procedures of the Flying-Cam are equivalent to the standards used in general aviation.

The vehicle has all the characteristics required for safe operation in close proximity with the actors.

The system is self-sufficient and combines the use of aeronautics, electronics, computer vision and wireless transmission technologies that are tailored to fit in a 30lbs/15kg take off weight platform and a 6ft/1.8m main rotor diameter.

Camera formats available are: 35mm, s35mm, s16mm and video, broadcast live transmission.


In addition to the motion picture industry, Flying-Cam collaborates in an effort for civil protection programs, such as NASA's programs: "Global HASMAT Response Technology", and DART "Disaster Assistance Rescue Team".

After the strength acquired through two decades of pioneering successful design and services with the Flying-Cam I and lately the Flying-Cam II, the Flying-Cam company is now investing more than 2 Millions Dollars in the Flying-Cam III Diamond.

Autonomous flight is under development in-house, tailor-made for the very demanding Motion Picture Film Industry. The Flying-Cam III Diamond will again bring the State of the Art to a new level with breakthrough scientific concepts and development.
