The Message: Flying-Cam's participation in the first Chinese war spy thriller |

Production : Huayi Brothers Media Corporation Limited Country : China It has been a great honor for Flying-Cam to take part in several Chinese national blockbusters for the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China this year. Partnering with the Chinese media giant, Huayi Brothers Media Corporation Limited on the company's high profile annual production, Flying-Cam once again demonstrated its versatility under extreme conditions in the most anticipated movie in China - "The Message". The movie features prominent Chinese mainland actresses Zhou Xun, and Li Bingbing with actors Huang Xiao Ming. Following a series of assassinations on officials of the Japanese-controlled puppet government during WWII-era in Nanjing, China, the Japanese counterintelligence chief (featured by Huang) gathers a group of suspects in a mansion house for questioning. A tense cat-and-mouse game follows as the Chinese code-breaker (featured by Zhou) attempts to send out a crucial message while hiding her own identity. Working closely with Directors Gao Qunshu, Chen Kuo-fu and DOP Jake Harrison Pollock for three days in Dalian, China, Flying-Cam team has provided multiple aerial shots in several essential plots. Fighting against persistent fierce onshore winds, Flying-Cam provided satisfactory result by declining from a high angle and flying towards a platform built next to the ocean in a main scene with the actors holding a feast on it. Flying-Cam further proved its dynamic capability in chasing actions. It revealed to be a perfect complement to the director's team by flying close to an actor who was crossing a bridge in a narrow valley which a full-size helicopter is incapable achieving. Impressed by Flying-Cam's performance, the Directors have decided to select a 15-second shot from Flying-Cam as the closing scene of the movie. The success of Flying-Cam's work in "The Message" is the result of close communication with the production unit and also professionalism of the team.
