Resident Evil Extinction:
Successful flight for Flying-Cam at 135 degrees Fahrenheit
Production : Sony Pictures

Flying-Cam is proud to have worked on another film that is now number one at box offices across the US, Resident Evil: Extinction.

Directed by Russell Mulcahy and staring Milla Jovovich, the third film in the Resident Evil series is set in the Nevada Desert and the ruins of Las Vegas.

Flying-Cam s North American crew was brought in on two separate occasions to secure aerial footage in Laguna Solada, Mexico. Temperatures soared to 135 degrees Fahrenheit while the Flying-Cam system was successfully utilized to capture the overhead view of an action-packed gun battle staged in a desert town. In addition, the Flying-Cam team worked on multiple aerial shots of a detention center holding over a hundred zombies, along with a fly-by of a fast-paced, multiple vehicle chase scene.

Flying-Cam is honored to have three aerial shots showcased in the official Sony Pictures trailer.
